Alpha Omega Epsilon is a professional engineering and technical sciences organization founded in 1983 that strives to provide friendship, leadership, and professionalism to all members of our organization, community, and professions.
ColorStack’s mission is to increase the number of Black and Latinx Computer Science graduates that go on to launch rewarding technical careers.
KSEA provides students interested in STEM fields with resources to build fruitful careers, help grow a national network of students and professionals, and foster a friendly community where members can benefit from each other academically and socially.
NSBE's national mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
SoCal's largest premier all-female hackathon.
Our organization is dedicated to supporting queer students in STEM majors. We are a Viterbi organization, but welcome all queer STEM majors as well as non-STEM majors and allies. We host weekly professional networking events, study nights, and discussions about thriving as queer people in STEM. We were named USC's LGBTQ student organization of the year in 2021-2022. We are affiliated with the national organization oSTEM.
Robopals is a co-ed, global, student-run organization that aims to increase enrollment of women and underrepresented groups in engineering and related fields through free STEM workshops held at schools in the community surrounding USC.

The Society of Women Engineers aims to support the community of women engineers at USC through professional development, service and social events
USC WiC seeks to provide a community for women interested in computer science and programming! Our goal as an organization is to introduce women to the field of computer science, and continue to motivate them to stay on the computing track. Through service events, mentorships, academic workshops, and networking events, we hope to help our members grow academically and professionally!
Design & Competition Teams
The Advanced Spacecraft Propulsion and Energy (ASPEN) Laboratory is a student group dedicated to designing, building and testing high-fidelity models of nuclear propulsion and spacecraft power systems.
The AeroDesign Team designs, builds, and flies competition-winning RC aircraft in a supportive, hands-on environment where members can learn and understand flight in a practical setting outside of the classroom.
Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Design Team is a student-run team that designs and builds AUVs to compete in the Robosub competition. Our projects provide members with a hands-on engineering experience that can be utilized in their future careers.
Chem-E Car is a design team that competes with a shoe box-sized car that runs and stops on chemical energy. Our team participates in the regional and national level Chem-E Car competitions that take place every year.
The USC EERI (Earthquake Engineering Research Institute) serves as a place for engineering students interested in seismic, structural, and architectural engineering to come together and create model designs using the latest engineering softwares and industry practices. Each year, USC EERI designs and builds a scale model of an earthquake-resistant skyscraper and sends a team of students to the national SDC (Seismic Design Competition).
EWB-USA USC Chapter builds a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world's most pressing challenges.
The ethos behind starting the Field Robotics Lab (FRL) is to allow for an organization that serves undergraduate students who have a keen interest on a career in mobile robotics for applications in space, scientific research, agricultural, humanitarian aid, or defense. Our aim is to lead university-level technical projects that equip USC undergraduates with practical engineering skills, beyond-classroom knowledge, and inspiration that they carry into their careers to improve our society.
Each year, the USC Recumbent Vehicle Design Team creates a vehicle to compete in the ASME Human Powered Vehicle Challenge. We design, build, and race the vehicle ourselves.
USCRPL is a student-run research lab that designs, builds, and launches high-performance amateur rockets. It was founded with the mission to be the first undergraduate student group in the world to send a rocket to space which was accomplished in April of 2019. Since then, USCRPL has developed a newfound goal to create a stable, reliable space program where launching to space becomes regular.
SC Formula Electric is a team that designs, builds, and races an electric vehicle in the Formula SAE competition. It is independent of SC Racing, which competes in FSAE but under a different class of vehicle.
Our team's goal is to design, build, and fund, and race USC's first-ever full-size solar-powered vehicle in the Formula Sun Grand Prix and American Solar Challenge races. We challenge the norms of transportation and advocate for a sustainable future.
We are a collegiate design team that designs, builds, tests, and competes a 1/3rd scale Formula 1 car every single year in the national FSAE event.
Academic & Social Organizations

We are the student chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH, a special interest group dedicated to computer graphics under ACM (Association for computer machinery). Our chapter strives to prepare students both artistically and technically to enter the computer graphics industry. Our mission is to promote the application and knowledge of computer graphics, 3D animation, and interactive techniques.
USC AIChE is the premier organization for chemical engineers on campus. Our chapter's goal is to connect and engage USC's chemical engineering community through professional, social, service, and academic events.
The American Society of Civil Engineers is a professional and social organization for those interested in civil and environmental engineering.
The Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering is a student-run organization focused on serving the biomedical engineering community at USC by designing a comprehensive calendar of professional, academic, social, mentorship, and outreach events.
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is USC's student chapter of the international membership organization for Computer Science professionals.
CAIS++ is a USC Viterbi-affiliated student organization that serves as the student branch of the USC Center for Artificial Intelligence in Society (CAIS). We collaborate with labs, startups, and community organizations to promote AI for social good.

Code the Change is a student organization that promotes social impact through technology by delivering software products to non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area.

MEDesign seeks to provide students with hands-on experience in the medical device field. We provide the structure and resources for seven design teams to invent, validate, and develop novel technologies to address pressing issues in healthcare.
